"Dustin has a good understanding on how design is built into products and he thinks and advocates for end-to-end user experience over localized improvements. He is very collaborative and always tries to help everyone around him and pushes them to think of the customers. I recommend Dustin for any user centric product development team!"

Never satisfied with okay, always fighting for the user.

After many years in UX design, I still get genuinely excited when data reveals a user problem that needs fixing. It's like being a detective, except instead of solving crimes, I'm solving why people can't figure out how to check out of your website (arguably just as important to society).

What drives me: Designing complex systems that don't make people want to throw their devices across the room. Whether it's building platforms for EA's top games, streamlining Apple's support experience for millions of users, or creating training plans for Little League teams, I approach every challenge the same way: with empathy, big-picture thinking, and a belief that there’s always a better way.

My superpower: Taking the kind of tangled, multi-stakeholder, cross-platform challenges that make other designers reach for their stress balls, and turning them into tangible solutions that actually work for real humans. I've worked with teams across three continents, mentored countless designers, and saved companies millions by asking the simple question: "But what do users actually need?"

You should know: I'm the designer who will ask the tough questions, champion accessibility like it's my personal mission, and probably suggest solutions that take more thought upfront but save everyone headaches later. I believe the best design happens when we bring together diverse perspectives, choose substance over shortcuts, and never forget that real people are on the other side of every interface we create.

Fun fact: I've been tinkering with how things work since I was a kid. Some habits never die.
